What Is the Lelo F1s Prototype?

Let’s kick off this Lelo F1s Prototype review by explaining what this shiny and futuristic-looking piece of equipment is. In the simplest terms, the F1s Prototype is a blowjob simulator that will change your life. No, I am not exaggerating even a little bit.

You see, the Lelo F1s Prototype doesn’t vibrate, thrust, or stroke. It emits sonic pulses that go deep inside your lap rocket, sending waves of unending pleasure. The Prototype uses SenSonic technology to stimulate you in unthinkable ways.

Speaking of SenSonic, two other Lelo products, the Sona and Developer’s Kit, also feature this technology. That makes sense, considering that it’s, in my opinion, the future of sex toys. I mean, no amount of stroking, twisting, or vibrating can hold a candle to it.

Lelo F1s Prototype Features

Obviously, the SenSonic feature is one of the coolest things ever. But the F1s Prototype isn’t a one-trick-pony. Another awesome feature that you can look forward to is Cruise Control. Allow me to elaborate.

Do you know how when you get a male masturbator, and you’re in the full swing of things, the toy drops the intensity for no apparent reason? Honestly, there’s nothing that can kill a mood faster than your toy losing power right when you’re about to cream. Well, there is, but since I live alone, I doubt that my mom will barge into my room, see me playing with the toy, and be scarred for life.

Well, with the Cruise Control feature, that’s a thing of the past. It will closely monitor the intensity, and keep it in check while you’re playing. With Cruise Control, power drops are a thing of the past.

Of course, Lelo had to push it one step further, and include some banging features in the app. For example, if you’re working on your schlongevity, you can set the app to training mode. Basically, the toy will start edging you, changing patterns and pulses, to get you to work up your stamina.

There are a ton of other features that you’ll see (or customize) in the app, but I’ll get to that in a second. First, let’s talk about the specs.

Lelo F1s Prototype Specs

Sometimes, when sex companies make a tech-forward toy, they forget about the basics, and just skimp out on the materials. But not Lelo.

The case of the F1s Prototype is a combination of ABS plastic, silicone, and an aluminum alloy. Basically, no matter how many times it falls out of your lube-covered hands onto a hard surface, the chances that it’ll ever break are slim.

To support the ten sensors that are responsible for the biggest O of your life, Lelo put two powerful motors in the Prototype. And the best part is that there’s no overly-complicated toy interface that you have to mess with. There’s only a three-button UI, which is pretty straightforward to use.

Inside the F1s Prototype, you’ll also find a Li-Ion battery that can hold a charge for two hours. I know that some of you are probably thinking that that’s way too low, and I double, no, triple-dare you to try it. If you last more than 20 minutes inside the Prototype, I don’t know, I’ll buy you a Coke or something.

With those two motors and a battery inside, you’d think that the F1s Prototype would be heavy, but it only weighs 10 oz. So you can easily hold it with one hand while you’re charming your trouser snake.

The Size

The last spec that I want to talk about in my Lelo F1s Prototype review is the insertable sizes. Since there’s been some controversy around this topic, I thought that I should give it it’s own section.

So according to Lelo, the length is 4.33 inches, while the width is 1.61 inches. Now, I know what you’re thinking, There’s no way that’s going to be wide enough for me.

And look, that’s what I originally thought, too, but then I learned that the Prototype is supposed to feel snug. That way, the sonic waves can more easily penetrate your prized possession and provide pleasure. But if you’re worried about it, put a buttload of lube into the internal canal before you start fapping (which you should be doing anyway).

Regarding the length, I think that it’s pretty decent, and what you’d find in most masturbation sleeves. Even if you don’t fit from head to base, it’s not really a problem. There’s no need for it to cover your whole baby maker because it can do the job pretty well anyway.

What’s in the Box?!

When I saw Lelo’s special F1s boxes, I was almost as emotional as Brad Pitt in Se7en. Except, I’m not as good looking as him, and I was giddy, not having a breakdown, but you get my point.

For its Sextech line, Lelo went above and beyond when creating the box, so of course, I have to talk about it in my Lelo F1s Prototype review. You see, when you buy the F1s, the sex gods at Lelo will send you the male sex toy, along with a USB charger. Pretty basic so far, right? WRONG.

You’ll also get an awesome satin storage pouch for your F1s, some of Lelo’s premium toy cleaner, a user manual, and a warranty registration card. But here’s where things get kind of weird.

Lelo will also give you a pair of high-quality racing gloves that are actually pretty solid. You’ll also receive a sign that reads Don’t. F1s Experiment in Progress. Even though the sign’s kind of cheesy, I do still keep it because it reminds me how much Lelo is willing to do for its customers.

Lelo F1s Prototype Vs. Lelo F1s Developer’s Kit

Lelo F1s Prototype Vs. Lelo F1s Developer’s Kit

On paper, the Lelo F1s Prototype and the Developer’s Kit work in pretty much the same ways. In fact, they’re so similar that most people can’t tell the difference, and it’s causing a lot of confusion. That is why I thought that I should clear up some misconceptions in my Lelo F1s Prototype review.

First, let’s start with what they have in common, which is the SenSonic technology and the Cruise Control feature. So they’ll both send mind-boggling pulsations to your ding-dong until you blow a load.

Both the Prototype and the Developer’s Kit are made from the same materials, and the insertable length and depth are identical. I bet you’re wondering what the hell even is the difference right about now?

Well, my horny friends, the first difference is in the design. The Prototype’s case is completely solid and looks like any normal masturbation sleeve. On the other hand, the Developer’s Kit has a little window on it so that you can see your General while he’s saluting. Honestly, if you’re a bit of an exhibitionist, and into that kind of thing, the Developer’s Kit is pretty cool.

But the biggest difference between the two is in the software. The reason that the Developer’s Kit is called that is that it allows you to fiddle around with the app and customize your settings. Lelo says that you can do this with some basic technical knowledge to program the functions that you want.

If you get the F1s Prototype, you can’t mess around with the app that much or create new patterns. You will, however, be able to download the patterns and customizations others have developed through the app.

The Lelo F1s App

Speaking of the Lelo App, I have to say that it’s a really cool addition that does more than meets the eye. So I want to dedicate a part of my Lelo F1s Prototype review to explaining what it does, and how you can get the most out of it.

As soon as Lelo ships your chosen F1s toy, the app will become available for you to download. You can get it on the App Store and Google Play, which means that both iPhone and Android users can play.

The first thing you can do through the app includes changing the intensity, speed, and power. You can also see, in real-time, all of the Prototype’s statistics, like pressure, temperature, and gyroscopic information.

One thing that I really like about the Lelo app is that the interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. There aren’t a hundred submenus that you have to mess with to get your ideal pace.

Connecting to the App

Lelo’s app uses Bluetooth to connect to your toy, and the pairing process is pretty straightforward. But I’ve seen some people struggling with it, so I thought that I should do a step-by-step in my Lelo F1s Prototype review.

The first thing you have to do is enable your Bluetooth, and turn the Prototype off. The pairing won’t work if your toy is on, so make sure to double-check.

Then, open the app, and you’ll see an introduction video, which can you skip. After that, a screen will pop up, telling you to push the Power button on the Prototype, and start pairing. The next screen you’ll see will let you confirm the connection, which you can once again do using the Power button.

Once your F1s vibrates, the connection is complete, and you’ll see the menu on your phone. From there, you can choose Play, About F1s, Legal, and Disconnect.

Cleaning Your Lelo F1s Prototype

You guys know by now that I really put a high premium on cleaning, and can go on for hours about the importance of doing a good job. When it comes to masturbation sleeves, the process is usually pretty simple and doesn’t take more than a few minutes. But like with everything else, the Prototype is a bit different than other toys.

You see, even though it’s waterproof, the sleeve isn’t detachable or reversible. So when you finish beating your meat, you can’t just pop the sleeve out and run it under the sink.

First, you need to rinse the inside of the toy thoroughly and get rid of any baby batter. Then, you need to squirt a couple of drops of the cleaning spray that Lelo sends you, and wait at least five seconds. The cleaner will start taking effect, and you can rinse the toy out again.

Before you put it away and store it in the pouch, you have to dry the Prototype. My advice is to grab some paper napkins or towels, roll them up so that they have pointy ends, and soak up the excess fluids. After that, you can put it on a towel or something, and leave it there for a few hours to make sure that it’s totally dry.

What’s Not to Like?

Okay, here’s the thing – the Prototype is, without a doubt, a fantastic toy, which you’ve probably figured out from this Lelo F1s Prototype review. However, the technology that Lelo’s using is still kind of new, which means that there are still some kinks to work out. More specifically, the kinks in the app.

The first problem that I had with the app has to do with the updates. Since it’s still in development, and a lot of it is up to the users, there seem to be constant updates. Some of them will either slow the app down or just straight up not work at all.

To be honest, I was perfectly fine with changing the patterns and intensity, and I don’t think the app needs a lot more bells and whistles. However, knowing Lelo, I am more than confident that the company will work out these issues in the future. And once it does, there’ll be no stopping the Lelo F1s line.

Is the Lelo F1s Prototype a Hit or a Miss?

I hope that you enjoyed my Lelo F1s Prototype review and that I’ve answered some of your questions. It took me a while to test everything, but now that I have, I can say that both F1s products are total bangers. Every person with a penis could greatly benefit from having one of these bad boys in their closet. So what are you waiting for? Go get your F1s, and join the sex toy revolution.
